Cookie Terms

Last updated 5 September 2026

This page explains how ANTSY uses cookies and similar technologies on antsyapp.net. As it stands, ANTSY sets no cookies of its own — the detail below covers what is used today and what will change when student accounts open.

What cookies and similar technologies are

A cookie is a small text file a site asks your browser to store, so it can be read back on a later visit. Similar technologies do the same job by other means: local storage and session storage keep data in your browser, and pixels or beacons send a small signal when a page loads.

As of the date above, ANTSY sets no cookies of its own and writes nothing to your browser's local or session storage.

Why ANTSY uses them

Only for two reasons: to keep the site available and secure, and to understand how it performs. We do not use cookies for advertising, we do not build profiles of you, and we do not sell or share your information with advertisers or data brokers.

Essential and strictly necessary cookies

These keep the site working and protect it from abuse. They cannot be switched off from within the site, because without them it cannot be served safely.

ANTSY sets none of these itself. Our infrastructure provider, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary cookie such as __cf_bm to tell real visitors from automated traffic, or cf_clearance if you are asked to complete a security check. These are security measures, not tracking, and they are not used to identify you or follow you across sites.

Analytics and performance

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages are visited and how quickly they load, so we can find what is slow or broken. It is cookieless by design: it sets no cookie, assigns no persistent identifier, and does not track you across other websites. It reports in aggregate, not per person.

We use no other analytics service — no Google Analytics, no advertising or marketing trackers of any kind.

Authentication and session cookies

ANTSY has no accounts and no login yet, so no authentication or session cookies are set today.

When student accounts open, signing in will require a session cookie to keep you logged in between pages. That cookie is strictly necessary — an account cannot work without one — and this page will be updated before any such cookie is set.

Third-party cookies and services

The only third party the site loads in your browser is Cloudflare, which delivers and protects antsyapp.net and provides the cookieless analytics described above.

Joining the waitlist sends your email address to our database provider, Supabase. That request is made by our own server, not by your browser, so Supabase sets no cookie on your device.

There are no embedded social buttons, advertising networks, or tracking pixels on this site.

Managing or disabling cookies

You can see and delete cookies, and refuse new ones, from your browser's settings — under Privacy or Cookies and site data in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge. Most browsers also offer a private window, which discards cookies when you close it.

Because we set no cookies of our own and our analytics is cookieless, there is nothing here for a cookie banner to ask you to opt out of.

What happens if you disable cookies

Browsing ANTSY and joining the waitlist work with cookies fully blocked. Blocking Cloudflare's security cookies may mean you are asked to complete a check more often, or in some cases cannot reach the site at all, since those cookies are what confirm you are a real visitor.

Once accounts open, blocking cookies will prevent you staying signed in.
